CAZEN ("we", "us") is a company based in the Republic of Korea. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user of the CAZEN app and platform.
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. We also collect the information you provide when using the service, including profile details, project data, collaborator information, ownership records, invoices, and any files or content you upload. We automatically collect limited usage data such as device type and app version to keep the service running correctly.
We use your information to provide and improve the CAZEN platform — including account management, collaboration features, and ownership documentation. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to analyze trends and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
Contractual necessity — to provide and maintain the service you signed up for.
Legitimate interests — to improve and secure the platform, prevent fraud, and ensure service quality.
Legal obligations — where processing is required to comply with applicable law.
CAZEN uses Supabase to provide our backend infrastructure, database, and storage (Supabase). Your account data, project records, and uploaded files are stored on Supabase's servers. Supabase operates data centers in multiple regions; your data may be stored or processed outside the Republic of Korea, including in the United States. We rely on Supabase's security and compliance controls for data protection. For details, see supabase.com/privacy.
Ownership records in the Rights Vault are designed for permanent, tamper-evident storage. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Some data may remain in backups for a limited period before permanent deletion.
Content you upload — including audio files, project documents, and ownership records — may contain personal or copyrighted material. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights, licenses, and consents to upload such content.
CAZEN does not pre-screen user-uploaded content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.
CAZEN uses Apple Sign In for authentication. We do not integrate any other third-party sign-in providers. We may use additional third-party tools internally to improve the service. These providers have their own privacy policies and we share only the minimum information necessary for these services to function.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can delete your account directly within the app at any time. This will permanently remove your data.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
CAZEN is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user under 18 has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
